About the Position
Hitachi Energy is globally known for products in the high voltage sector and for its expertise in energy transmission and distribution. The Local Service Center Switzerland supports the local market in after-sales support of generator circuit breakers (GCB systems), gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), outdoor circuit breakers (LTB), as well as plug-and-switch systems (PASS). This includes training, installation and commissioning, planned maintenance, value-added services, troubleshooting, expansions, retrofits, repairs, and replacements.
What you can achieve
Leading projects with effective handover, planning, and execution monitoring
Main contact person and escalation point for project-related issues
Monitoring project progress, finances, and resource utilization
Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks during projects as well as leveraging opportunities and improvements
Procuring necessary services, materials, and equipment; supporting negotiations and project changes
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing regular progress reports to management
Ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies; managing project changes and interventions
Conducting project evaluations, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting the team as needed
Your profile
At least 2 years of experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion, preferably in a similar industry; technical background is an advantage
Experience leading cross-functional teams, both internal and external
Knowledge of project finance, including budgeting, invoicing, cost control, as well as risk identification and management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in procuring services, materials, and equipment as well as supporting contract negotiations and project changes
Strong analytical skills to monitor progress, evaluate project outcomes, and implement corrective actions
Understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and company policies with the ability to ensure compliance throughout the project
Fluent in German and English; French or Italian is an advantage
SAP knowledge is a plus
