About the job
The KAST/AM specialist office (Cantonal Office/Labor Market) is responsible for all matters concerning the Glarus labor market, in particular the enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG).
We are looking for a
Specialist Labor Market 50–80 %
for the specialist office, starting immediately or by arrangement, with the workplace in Glarus. The position is initially limited.
Tasks
- Professional management of the assigned files in the enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act
- Enforcement tasks in the area of the Employment Services Act
- Enforcement tasks in the area of acquisition of real estate by persons abroad and consumer credit
- First contact person for internal and external unemployment law and labor law questions
- Support function in process analysis and management
- Support in financial accounting for the enforcement of the Unemployment Insurance Act
- Statistical preparation of labor market data
- Assistance with labor market projects
Requirements
- Education at tertiary level (FH, HF, federal specialist certificate)
- Proven knowledge of social insurance and labor law
- Professional experience in the relevant specialist areas
- Interest in economic and labor law issues
- A flair for numbers and statistical issues
- Skillfulness in oral and written communication
- Service orientation, flexibility, and resilience
- Affinity for the economic and residential region of Glarnerland
