Your responsibilities
- Reception of samples, sorting and checking their compliance
- Performing macroscopic examination of samples
- Embedding in paraffin after dehydration of samples
- Cutting sections with a microtome
- Staining slides and performing immunostaining (manually and with an automated system)
- Performing frozen sections
- Preparing slide trays and distributing to pathologists/digitization
- Stock management and working closely in a team and being available to colleagues
Required skills
- Diploma as Biomedical Analysis Technician ES, CFC laboratory technician, or equivalent training
- Knowledge of histology sample compliance criteria
- At least 1 year of experience in histology sample preparation
- Experience in performing cuts in quality and quantity
- Ability to follow a work protocol independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them
- Enjoy working in a team
- Native French speaker or C1/C2 level according to the European language framework
