To strengthen our department S&E Sustainable Real Estate and Construction DCH, in the P&B (Property and Buildings) sector we are looking for the branch in Zurich immediately or by arrangement for a

Head of Department (80-100%) 

YOUR TASKS:

As Head of Department, you take responsibility for a small, dynamic team that you support and guide with your technical expertise. At the same time, you actively shape the future of sustainable real estate and influence the market in the German-speaking part of Switzerland through innovative approaches and strong partnerships.

• Market development German-speaking Switzerland: You develop and maintain a network in the German-speaking part of Switzerland to position the department as the leading contact point for all questions regarding energy-efficient and sustainable construction
• Acquisition and proposal preparation: You acquire new customers and projects and build long-term partnerships by working closely with other departments and external partners.
• Team development: You actively shape the strategic direction of the department in the areas of building physics, energy, and sustainable construction
• Team leadership: You actively contribute to efficient scheduling and workload planning of project staff and optimize their deployment planning.
• Project management: You support project managers in the responsibility for internal project management and successfully control the areas of costs, deadlines, and quality through your solid experience

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education in environmental, energy engineering, building physics/acoustics, or comparable qualification
• Extensive expertise in building physics, acoustics, energy efficiency, and sustainable construction
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in managing teams or departments
• Good network in the construction and real estate industry of the German-speaking part of Switzerland
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as independent and goal-oriented working style
• Confident appearance and convincing communication with different stakeholders
• Quick comprehension and structured familiarization with new topics
• Very good German skills (spoken and written), English fluent, French an advantage
