- Responsibility for all operational procurement matters in collaboration with the team colleague
- Processing and triggering orders while considering technical and commercial objectives
- Obtaining and comparing offers
- Price and contract negotiations
- Developing supplier contracts in cooperation with the business unit
- Opening and maintaining purchasing master data in SAP
- Handling and monitoring all administrative accompanying and follow-up tasks related to procurement, e.g. appointments, dunning, invoices, complaints, etc.
- Supporting strategic procurement
This is what you bring
- Successfully completed commercial or technical basic training with commercial further education (purchasing specialist, certified buyer) or a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering (FH or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement as well as extensive procurement market knowledge in a technical environment
- Knowledge/experience in international procurement and contract management is an advantage
- German and English spoken and written (business fluent)
- Very good MS Office and SAP skills (S/4HANA is an advantage)
- Quick comprehension and ability to structure complex issues
- Ability to communicate goal-oriented with internal clients and team colleagues
