glarnerSach is a public-law company. Since 1811, we have been mandatorily insuring all buildings in the canton of Glarus against fire and natural hazards and are responsible for fire protection and the fire brigades. In addition, we offer comprehensive household, business, and building insurance in competition for private and corporate customers.

We are looking for you:

Analytical personality with high initiative and IT affinity.

Your mission

Reporting: You design and optimize management reporting – from KPI definition through dashboard design to ensuring data quality.
AdHoc analyses: You provide precise data bases and meaningful ad-hoc analyses that support management decisions in a well-founded manner.
Planning & control: You actively participate in the budget and forecast process and monitor compliance with planned targets.
IT Super-User: You are the first contact person for our IT service provider and support selected applications.

What you bring with you

Experience: You bring initial practical experience in a comparable function and know the central processes in controlling/finance.
Excel skills: Basic knowledge of Excel, especially pivot tables and formulas.
Power BI & SQL: Initial contact with Power BI or other BI tools is welcome; basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
IT affinity: Interest in IT and data topics as well as enjoyment in collaborating with our IT service provider.
