The Health Department is a central office of the Department of Justice, Security, and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal legal requirements and thus makes a significant contribution to a high-quality, safe, and sustainable healthcare system in the canton.
The office is divided into the following specialist areas: permits and supervision of health professions and institutions, cantonal medical service, medicinal and narcotics control, finance and controlling, health promotion and prevention, as well as the Graubünden medical emergency call.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and professionally competent individual with a Swiss dental diploma who will competently support the office in dental supervision as well as in professional and health policy matters.
Your area of responsibility
- Advising and supporting the office in health police supervision on dental matters (especially supervision of the professional activities of dentists)
- Participation in monitoring compliance with professional duties
- Conducting practice and operational inspections
- Writing statements and reports in case of violations of health police regulations
- Informing practicing dentists about their professional duties
- Supervising the implementation of school dental care
- Collaborating in the preparation of statements within the framework of federal, inter-cantonal, and professional consultation procedures on regulations in the dental field
- Inter-cantonal exchange and participation in working groups
What we expect from you
- Swiss dental diploma and several years of professional experience in Switzerland
- preferably practical experience in the canton of Graubünden
- high social competence, teamwork skills, and flexibility
- fluency in oral and written expression
- independent, analytical, and careful working style
- interest in health policy issues
- Italian language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
