The Building Permits performance group of the City of Uster is responsible as a well-coordinated team for the execution and review of building applications, advice, and support of construction projects.

Project Manager Building Permits 90-100%
Your main tasks
- Procedure management in the municipal building permit process
- Coordination with project authors, cantonal authorities, municipal administrative offices, and external specialist offices
- Business and deadline control
- Assessment of construction projects and preliminary decision applications
- Consideration and decision on legal issues
- Independent drafting of corresponding decisions (city council resolutions/orders)
- Pre-discussions of construction projects
- Building law advice and support of construction projects
- Special tasks such as processing projects related to the building permit procedure
You bring with you
- Degree from a university of applied sciences in architecture or an equivalent education
- Training or basic knowledge in building law or/and willingness for further education
- Experience in an architecture or engineering office or in an administration
- Knowledge of cooperation with administrative offices
- Secure German language skills in speaking and writing
- Good PC user skills
- Good knowledge of M365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, PDF-XChange, etc.)
- Knowledge of CMI is an advantage
- Knowledge of digital processes or artificial intelligence is an advantage
