Following the departure of the current Head Nurse of Department, the Nursing Directorate is looking for a

Your mission:
- assume, in co-responsibility, the strategic, operational and organizational governance of a department comprising approximately 342 FTEs
- ensure the quality, safety and continuity of nursing care, integrating evidence-based practices and national/international standards
- promote close, smooth and sustainable collaboration with transversal chief physicians
- proactively manage the human, material and financial resources of the department, ensuring efficient, agile and sustainable management of allocated resources
- actively participate in the implementation of objectives, project realization and development of the HFR
- encourage clinical research, organizational innovation and continuous professional development of teams
- serve as an advisor and influencer to the Nursing Directorate by actively sitting on the Nursing College as a permanent member
- develop a culture of management by processes and indicators
- strengthen the continuous improvement dynamic by leading a transversal, participative and patient outcome-centered quality approach
- ensure cohesion, smoothness and efficiency of the overall functioning of the department, guaranteeing a flexible, responsive organization aligned with the needs of the population cared for
Your profile:
- HES nursing diploma or equivalent training
- postgraduate training in management and/or higher-level management (MAS) or willingness to undertake it
- at least 10 years of professional experience in nursing, including a minimum of 5 years in an acute care environment
- proven 5 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
- solid knowledge of health economics, as well as the DRG, Tarmed and Tardoc systems
- recognized skills in financial management and management of complex projects
- collaborative and transversal approach, oriented towards institutional processes and interprofessional partnerships
- leadership, organizational, communication and negotiation skills
- proficiency in common office and IT tools
- mastery of French or German with excellent knowledge of the partner language

Tasks
- You are jointly responsible for the strategic, operational and organizational management of a department with around 342 FTEs.
- You ensure the quality, safety and continuity of nursing care, taking into account evidence-based practice and national and international standards.
- You promote close, smooth and sustainable collaboration with the transversal chief physicians.
- You proactively manage the personnel, material and financial needs of the department and ensure efficient, adaptable and sustainable management of the allocated resources.
- You actively participate in the implementation of goals and projects as well as in the further development of the HFR.
- You promote clinical research, organizational innovations and the professional development of the teams.
- As a permanent member of the Nursing College, you advise the Nursing Directorate and actively contribute to the activities.
- You build a management culture based on processes and indicators.
- You strengthen the dynamics of continuous improvement by promoting a cross-departmental, participatory and patient outcome-oriented quality approach.
- You ensure coherent, smooth and efficient overall processes in your department, supported by a flexible, responsive and population-needs-aligned organization.
Profile
- Dipl. nursing professional FH or equivalent training
- Postgraduate training in management and/or management training at a higher level (MAS) or willingness to complete it
- At least 10 years of professional experience in nursing, including at least 5 years in acute care
- At least 5 years proven experience in leading interdisciplinary teams
- Proven knowledge in health economics as well as the DRG system, TARMED and TARDOC
- Proven competencies in financial management and steering complex projects
- Transversal, collaborative approach, focused on internal hospital processes and interprofessional partnerships
- Leadership and negotiation skills, organizational ability, communication skills
- Proficiency in common IT and office software
- German or French with excellent knowledge of the other language
