What this position offers you

• You take full responsibility for diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and maintaining washing machines and dryers – directly at customers’ homes, within a local service area. No day is the same: every assignment brings a new situation, a new appliance, a new challenge
• You prepare binding repair quotes and recognise when a repair is sensible – and when a replacement is the more honest recommendation. This judgement is in your hands, and you carry it with the necessary expertise and backbone
• You are not only a technician but also an advisor: you instruct customers on the operation, care, and maintenance of their appliances, clarify connection options, and take the time to truly answer questions – not just tick boxes
• You document your assignments digitally via tablet: service reports, daily summaries, quotes – neatly, completely, and promptly. This is part of the craft
• You exchange information daily in the service centre – in the morning meeting with your team – and stay up to date with service bulletins and technical updates. There is no standstill here, neither technically nor personally

What you bring to the role

• You have completed a basic vocational or electrical engineering education (EFZ or EBA) – ideally as an electrical installer, electronics technician, or in a comparable profession
• You bring solid electrical engineering knowledge and know how to approach an unfamiliar appliance – systematically, confidently, and without immediately assuming the worst case. Ideally, you already hold the NIV 15 permit or are motivated to complete the required training with us
• You enjoy direct customer contact and have the ability to explain technical matters so that they are understood by someone who is not a technician – friendly, clear, and on equal terms
• You work independently and reliably: you know that some days are tight on schedule, yet you still find a way to combine quality and punctuality
• You are physically fit and not afraid of demanding assignments – whether in a cellar, laundry room, or installation situation that seems puzzling at first glance
• You communicate confidently in German and French; additional languages are a real plus
• You hold a category B driving licence
