The Crans-Montana Clinic, nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal and psychosomatic medicine, polyvalent post-operative or post-hospitalization rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Crans-Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Job description
As a medical secretary or assistant, you play a central role in coordinating and ensuring the smooth operation of the service. Your mission is to carry out all administrative and documentary activities: proofreading and correcting opinions and discharge letters, processing extension requests, scanning and filing documents, as well as organizing patient transport.
On a daily basis, you independently manage the administrative follow-up of files, correspondence, email messaging, and telephone calls, while responding efficiently to internal and external requests.
Integrated at the heart of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, you develop a close relationship with your fellow secretaries and ensure service continuity during absences, thus contributing to the smooth running of the service.
Qualifications
You hold a commercial employee CFC complemented by a medical or medical secretary diploma. Confirmed experience in a hospital medical secretariat is an asset.
You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and are recognized for your writing skills. Medical terminology is familiar and easily understandable to you.
Comfortable with IT tools, you have the basic ECDL (Word-Excel). Knowledge of HUG applications (DPA, DPI, OPALE) is an additional asset.
Team spirit, sense of priorities, autonomy, and rigor define your way of working. You know how to collaborate closely with a team composed of senior doctors, interns, and secretaries, and you demonstrate flexibility and composure to manage unforeseen events and periods of intense activity.
