About the job
The Oberi Children's and Youth Home is an offer of residential youth welfare by the City of Winterthur. In our four coeducational and mixed-age residential groups, we offer a total of 32 places for children and young people aged 6 to 18 years.For our youth residential group with eight young people aged 12 to 18 years, we are looking for a committed social pedagogue as of May 1, 2026. You will accompany and support the young people in everyday life and contribute with heart, commitment, and professional competence to their holistic development and promotion.
Your Tasks
- Accompanying and promoting the young people in everyday life as well as supporting
them in managing their developmental tasks - Supporting the young people in career choice
- Maintaining documentation in the case management system
- Co-shaping the team and group process
- Helping with household tasks and cooking
- Participating in group weekends or summer camps
Your Profile
- Completed training in social pedagogy FH or HF
- Team, conflict, and reflection skills
- Positive view of people and healthy assertiveness
- Stable and resilient personality
- Willingness to work night, evening, and weekend shifts
