The Knecht Group is a growing family business with 2,500 employees in the areas of travel, goods transport, passenger transport, commercial vehicles, and healthcare.
Dynamic commercial employees with a vocational baccalaureate and the desire for further development are offered a support program by the Knecht Group in the areas of financing / treasury, financial and management accounting, as well as controlling.
The holding finance team coordinates group-wide financial processes as well as controlling; on the other hand, we fully manage the financial and management accounting of about a dozen companies. After an induction period, further responsibility can be taken on if suitable.
You report directly to the Group CFO.
Your Main Tasks
- Collaboration at the holding level in projects for the further development of the group (e.g. digitalization, compliance, financing, M&A / acquisitions)
- Partial responsibility for group-wide reporting
- Taking on partial responsibility for the accounting of a group subsidiary with the goal of independent financial statement preparation
- Collaboration and growing responsibility in the preparation of management accounting financial statements
- Assistance in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and analyses for management
- Assistance in the preparation of financial accounting annual financial statements and performing reconciliation tasks
- VAT and direct tax accounting
- Recording of receivables in close contact with internal profit center managers
- Recording and payment of payables, managing cash management and liquidity planning
- Supporting supervisors and line managers with special tasks/projects and taking on projects
- Developing and optimizing processes and systems
Your Profile
- You have a commercial basic education with a vocational baccalaureate and above-average grades.
- Ideally, you have initial professional experience in accounting, finance, or controlling.
- You are interested in further education in accounting or business administration (accounting specialist certificate, university in business administration, or similar).
- You are an ambitious personality and want to develop further in a dynamic corporate group. You are willing to learn, resilient, and ready to take on responsibility.
- You have an eye for detail, possess strong analytical skills, think critically, and work precisely.
