The position is attached to the  Diagnostic Department . The department's objectives (comprising 9 medical services) are to provide patients with results that assist in diagnosis, prognosis, therapeutic choices, prediction, and/or disease prevention. These results must be of high medical quality, reliable, delivered promptly, and at an acceptable cost.

The main mission of the Radiology Service concerns diagnostic radiology exams and therapeutic interventions guided by various imaging techniques. This clinical activity includes approximately 220,000 exams and 5,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year, a significant portion of which is provided on a 24/7 basis.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, you will perform practical activities, clinical and therapeutic interventions assigned to you, and engage in postgraduate training in radiology according to the ISFM program.

You will contribute to the training of resident physicians.

You will progress in your training curriculum according to the defined plan and/or FMH requirements for the radiology specialization title.

Qualifications

You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the  Medical Professions Commission  of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the  Medical Professions Register  (MedReg).

A full postgraduate year in internal medicine and/or surgery is a prerequisite.

Possessing excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. Additionally, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.

For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.

As part of the resident physician training rotation, the service recruits about 15 new resident physicians during the year.
