Your Tasks
- As a member of the Directorate's staff, you will support the service departments and the head of the Environmental and Mobility Directorate (UMD) in legal matters.
- You are responsible at the municipal level for the legally correct implementation of environmental and energy law by the service departments and particularly accompany the implementation of the municipal climate and energy strategy.
- You support the civil engineering office in planning, realization, and operation of infrastructure projects in public spaces (approval procedures, appeal negotiations, land and rights acquisition, procurement procedures).
- Together with the responsible staff, you will develop political matters for the city council and parliament.
- You will contribute to the development and further advancement of municipal legislation.
- You represent the Directorate and its service departments in legal proceedings.
- You train the staff and further develop the tools of the legal service.
Your Profile
- You are a lawyer with a master's degree (lawyer's license preferred).
- You have a solid knowledge of administrative law, preferably in energy and environmental law as well as planning and construction law. Ideally, you are also familiar with working in public administration.
- You enjoy the legal profession in all its breadth, from legal advice in individual cases to legal representation and handling complex legal issues.
- You are able to independently develop practical solutions for legally compliant execution.
- You are skilled in written expression, have a quick understanding, and achieve good results even under time pressure.
- Your demeanor is convincing, you can articulate legal matters in an easily understandable way, and you possess pronounced negotiation skills.
- As a communicative and integrative personality, you look forward to close, interdisciplinary collaboration.
