About the job

Neuhausen am Rheinfall, with over 12,000 inhabitants, is the second largest municipality in the canton of Schaffhausen. Digitalisation and a modern administrative infrastructure are key factors for a future-proof municipality. To actively and successfully continue on this path, we are creating a new position and are looking for a committed person from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement:

ICT Coordinator & Project Manager (60 - 80 %)

Your main future tasks

• Central internal specialist office for IT and digitalisation in the municipality.
• Management of the budget as well as maintenance of licence, contract and inventory management.
• Ensuring smooth operation and orderly processes in internal first-level support in cooperation with external service providers.
• Planning, implementation and coordination of ICT and digitalisation projects across all phases.
• Support in the development and/or implementation of the municipality-wide digitalisation strategy, promotion of standards (security, data).
• Coordination of ICT issues and interfaces with the schools in Neuhausen as well as participation in cross-departmental projects.

What you ideally bring with you

• Completed training (IT specialist EFZ or higher professional IT studies) as well as several years of professional experience in ICT.
• Solid experience in leading or coordinating ICT projects.
• Good knowledge of ICT infrastructure, specialised applications, user administration, IT security and support processes.
• Analytical, conceptual strength and a networked way of thinking combined with a high service and solution orientation.
• Very good communication and coordination skills as well as enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
