Your Tasks
- Senior medical activity in the pulmonology department with certified weaning center and accredited sleep laboratory
- Participation in inpatient and outpatient pulmonological patient care
- Close cooperation with the interdisciplinary assistant physician pool of the departments of internal medicine, intensive care, emergency medicine, and cardiology
- Performing all common pulmonological diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including cryoprobe, miniprobe, and CT-guided punctures
- Co-responsibility for the professional supervision and training of medical staff
- Support of the department management in organizational and conceptual tasks
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with the clinic for internal medicine and intensive care
- Participation in quality assurance and further development of the department
- Ensuring patient-centered and guideline-compliant care
Your Profile
- Specialist in internal medicine and pulmonology, ideally with additional qualification in intensive care medicine
- Additional qualifications in sleep medicine and/or allergology are desirable but not mandatory
- Several years of clinical experience in pulmonology
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as mentoring and training younger colleagues
- Organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with patients, relatives, and staff
- Valid specialist knowledge certificate in radiation protection according to § 3 para. 3 no. 2 RöV including required updates
