These are your tasks
- Monitor supply networks (electricity, gas, water, district heating, fiber optics, and public transport) in a 3-shift operation
- Record disruptions in the supply networks and assist in handling them
- Carry out switching operations in the high and medium voltage networks
- Create switching orders in the medium voltage network
- Ensure network operation for the public transport of the city of Bern
- Take over network management in the areas of electricity, district heating, gas, and water
- Ensure the availability of Energie Wasser Bern outside of office hours
This is what sets you apart
- Basic training in electrical engineering
- Experience in energy, building, home, or service technology and maintenance is an advantage
- Familiar with Microsoft 365, especially with MS Office applications and Microsoft Teams
- Good IT knowledge, ideally also of control systems and automation devices
- Willingness to work in regular shift service
- Resilient personality that maintains calm and overview in hectic situations and acts confidently
- Responsible and conscientious work style
- Enjoyment of both individual and team work
