About 460 employees work at the Road Traffic Office of the Canton of Zurich at nine locations. Our task is traffic safety in the Canton of Zurich. We are responsible for the registration and inspection of vehicles and ships, for driving tests, administrative measures, and the collection of traffic fees. The Walche car operation is a 24-hour service provider for the government and administration of the Canton of Zurich.
