About the job
Spatial Planner (50 - 100%)
- Challenging planning and procedural tasks in the largest agglomeration municipality in Switzerland
- Handling spatial planning projects with a focus on zoning and land use planning, including the development of development regulations
- Project management in formal and informal planning processes
- Independent and long-term handling of projects involving internal and external stakeholders with the aim of making a sustainable contribution to society
- Development and support of projects in the political process (executive, legislative, eligible voters)
- Depending on interest and professional suitability, further tasks within the planning department are possible:
- Development and implementation of strategic, conceptual planning instruments
- Planning added value (survey, revenue management, coordination of expenses)
- Regional planning (assessment of construction projects in cooperation with the building permit authority)
- Organization and support of quality assurance procedures
- GIS analyses for spatial monitoring, forecasts, scenarios, etc.
- Practical/vocational training in the profession of draughtsperson specializing in spatial planning
- Education and/or further training in spatial planning, architecture, or similar, several years of practical experience advantageous
- Special flair for procedural issues and politics
- Networked and forward-looking thinking, precise and efficient working method, solution-oriented project management
- Convincing and situation-appropriate expression as well as a good sense in dealing with different people
- Team player with self-initiative and great passion for the task
- A respectful, collegial collaboration and a good working atmosphere
- Compatibility of work and private life: annual working hours, part-time work, care days and home office depending on function
