Your tasks
- Management and organization of medical controlling and case-related coding for the AMEOS Klinikum Halberstadt site
- Advising and training doctors and nursing staff on coding and documentation issues
- Expansion and assurance of high quality of case-accompanying coding on the wards
- Preparation of evaluations, statistics, and analyses
- Participation in cross-clinic projects of medical controlling
Your profile
- Completed medical, commercial, or nursing studies or comparable training, ideally with management experience in medical controlling as well as professional experience in a hospital
- Comprehensive knowledge of the DRG system and the associated regulations DKR, ICD, ICPM
- Very good knowledge in clinical coding and hospital billing
- Confident handling of all MS Office products
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with various contact persons
- Confident, result-oriented, and at the same time service-oriented appearance
- Pronounced resilience, analytical thinking skills, ability to structure, and an understanding of process organization are required
