Your Role
As an IT Junior Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for staff and students with IT questions. This role reports to the IT Operations Manager in a team of 5. You’ll manage devices, accounts, and systems, help maintain smooth IT operations, and contribute to exciting projects that enhance teaching and learning.
This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of IT systems in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What you will do
● Provide first-line support for staff and students both onsite and remotely.
● Manage iPads, Macs, and other devices using Jamf Pro or similar MDM tools.
● Troubleshoot and configure networks, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
● Maintain IT systems including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Teams.
● Document support cases and solutions in our IT ticketing system.
● Contribute to IT projects such as device rollouts, software deployments, and classroom technology setups.
● Ensure IT security and data protection compliance.
● Carry out other IT-related tasks and responsibilities as required.
What makes you our ideal Candidate
● Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
● Familiarity with Apple devices (iPads, Macs); Jamf Pro experience a plus.
● Understanding of IT infrastructure (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows).
● Problem-solving mindset, service-oriented, and eager to learn.
● Fluent communication in English, and German is an advantage.
● Brings team spirit, happiness in a team, and motivation to grow professionally.
Our Requirements
● Completed IT apprenticeship, diploma, or equivalent education in IT systems (or currently studying toward one).
● 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience (internships or professional).
● International school or service environment experience is a plus but not required.
