Branch Manager

Are you ready to lead and further develop our branch in Aarau together with the branch management? Do you live mountain sports together with your team and inspire our customers every day? Then we are looking for you as a branch manager for our branch in Aarau.

Bächli Bergsport is the leading Swiss specialist store for mountaineering, climbing, expeditions, hiking, ski touring, and snowshoeing. In eleven sales branches in German-speaking Switzerland, two sales branches in French-speaking Switzerland, and one sales branch in Ticino, we offer our demanding customers the best products and brands, expert advice, and high-quality service.

• Together with the branch management, you take responsibility for the branch and share responsibility for sales, costs, and profit.
• With a strong customer and success orientation, you pursue the goals of the branch as well as the entire company.
• In coordination with the branch management, you lead a team of around 12 employees (including apprentices) and accompany all personnel processes.
• As a host, you ensure competent and authentic advice. You actively participate in sales and profitably contribute your own mountain sports experience.
• You are responsible for an attractive store appearance, take on administrative and planning tasks, and independently implement exciting projects.

• You are looking for a role with development potential and want to continuously develop the branch, your team, and yourself.
• You have completed training in retail and have several years of professional experience in a comparable role. Initial leadership experience is an advantage.
• You practice mountain sports yourself and know how to convey this passion authentically and convincingly.
• You bring high social competence and know how to challenge and promote your team at the right moment.
• You communicate confidently in German and can also communicate with our customers in English.
