Gas Analysis Laboratory | February 1, 2025 or by arrangement
The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology METAS develops internationally coordinated reference masses and passes them on with the required accuracy through calibrations to the Swiss economy, research, and administration. For this purpose, it operates a high-quality laboratory infrastructure.
Accurate measurement of the components of gas mixtures is important in many areas. For example, gaseous air pollutants must be reliably and precisely measured in environmental protection. In the "Gas Analysis" department, we ensure traceability to internationally coordinated reference values with our highly accurate measuring instruments and measurement methods. With the two calibration offices for combustion gas and alcohol measuring instruments, we ensure that these measuring instruments meet legal requirements and can thus be measured with high quality in the field.
