Join our Planning & Purchasing team in our bushing factory in Zürich-Altstetten as our Teamleader Planning and Purchasing! Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technology leader in the design and manufacture of high-voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies of the electrical industry, active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high-voltage bushing areas worldwide.
About the job
How you'll make an impact
- Lead and develop the production planning and operational purchasing team
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule with production planners and analyse production capacity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scheduling data
- Establish accurate delivery dates with the fulfillment team
- Ensure MRP exception messages are read and managed
- Incorporate demand forecasts into scheduling and establish and track KPIs for master plan adherence
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Contribute to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- As People Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines
Your background
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administrations, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning & fulfillment, supply chain management or operations management, in a leadership position
- Strong analytical skills to assess production capacity and inventory levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage effectively with teams and stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills
