The Egnach Foundation for Living, Accompanying, and Working is an institution for people in need of support. It offers adults with cognitive impairments protected workplaces, community-oriented and assisted living, as well as educational opportunities.
To support a residential team, we are looking for a Care Specialist 60% to start immediately or by arrangement.
In collaboration with the team, you are responsible for the care of our residents with cognitive impairments. You contribute to shaping group life, group activities, and the group household. Furthermore, you accompany and support the adults in their daily lives and organize leisure activities with them.
You want to:
- Guide and promote people with impairments in daily life, care, practical life skills, and leisure
- Support the residents in exploring the limits of their independence
- Take responsibility as a key person and in teamwork
- Also engage in administrative tasks
Our ideal candidate:
- Basic training in the social field
- Enjoys working with people with impairments
- Stable personality
- High level of responsibility, physical and mental resilience, and independent working style
- Empathy
- Basic knowledge in care
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and client information system (RedLine)
- Willingness to work irregular hours (weekends, few split shifts, and night on-call duty)
