About the job
What to expect
- A versatile range of tasks with plenty of creative freedom: You independently manage your area within the Health & Near-Food category and continuously develop it with a focus on trends, market analyses, and customer needs
- You identify growth opportunities in the beauty assortment and consistently drive expansion
- You are responsible for achieving budget targets (sales, contribution margin) as well as strategic and operational goals in your area
- You actively look for ways to scale processes in the product lifecycle (sourcing, pricing, content) through automation solutions
- You negotiate contracts and purchasing conditions with your manufacturers/suppliers and ensure competitive and attractive pricing across all our sales channels
- Together with the Category Marketing Manager and your suppliers, you plan the appropriate marketing measures
What you bring
- A completed commercial basic education (EFZ) as well as further training in marketing, product management, purchasing, or business administration
- You have 3-5 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the cosmetics sector or related consumer goods. Experience in e-commerce and digital sales channels is an advantage
- A good sense for market trends and customer needs, complemented by industry knowledge in cosmetics as well as an analytical and networked way of thinking characterize you
- You are enthusiastic about digitalization and automation – you enjoy working with modern digital tools and technologies
- You bring a high degree of initiative and convince with your negotiation skills as well as your pronounced communication skills. Your enjoyment of working with internal and external partners rounds off your profile
- Your structured, efficient way of working and high resilience enable you to keep a cool head even in hectic situations
- You have confident German language skills in speaking and writing, good English skills, and are proficient with MS Office
