The Social Affairs division of the municipality of Ingenbohl ensures the consultation of around 9,600 residents of the municipalities of Ingenbohl and Riemenstalden. Due to the realignment of the previous position holder, we are looking for a
Employee Secretariat Social Affairs (80%)
Your impact with us
- Managing the Social Affairs secretariat in a two-person team
- Counter and telephone service, daily mail processing
- Reception, initial clarification and triage of concerns in the area of economic social assistance and asylum matters as well as clarification of social assistance claims (case intake, responsibility check, initial calculation)
- Administration of payments, invoicing and credits
- Collaboration with subsidiary service providers (e.g. scholarship office, health insurance companies, billing of ALK, IV and EL)
- Preparation and follow-up of the monthly welfare authority meetings
- Verification of entitlement to childcare contributions
- Responsibility for the training of apprentices (practical training for the 3rd year of apprenticeship)
Your qualifications
- Completed commercial basic training
- Professional experience in the field of economic social assistance and/or social insurance is an advantage
- Very good IT skills
- Basic knowledge of English, additional languages are a plus
- Quick comprehension as well as networked and structured thinking
- Independent, reliable and resilient working style
- Teamwork skills as well as high service orientation
- Understanding of people in challenging life situations
