Office for Correctional Services, Cantonal Prison Frauenfeld is looking for August 2026 or by arrangement

• Care and supervision of incarcerated persons
• Correct and proportionate fulfillment of tasks taking into account legal bases as well as correctional relevant requirements and regulations
• Coordination and monitoring of daily operations
• Operation of communication and security systems
• Person and property checks
• Administrative tasks within the scope of the activities to be performed
• Work in shifts

• 3- or 4-year vocational training with federal certificate of competence and several years of professional experience
• Impeccable reputation
• Confident German and foreign language skills
• Physically and mentally resilient, flexible and communicative personality
• Good technical understanding and skilled handling of IT
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Positive attitude towards closed correctional services and integrity in dealing with people in correctional services regardless of their offenses and cultures
• Willingness to train at the Swiss Competence Center for Correctional Services SKJV, preferably already with a degree as a correctional specialist
• Driver's license category B
