• Overall responsibility for the organization and management of catering at the Embrach site
• Leadership, promotion, and scheduling of catering staff
• Ensuring high-quality, economical, and timely food production
• Responsibility for hygiene, quality assurance, and compliance with legal requirements
• Budget and cost center responsibility including control of goods flow and inventory management
• Further development of the offerings in collaboration with the Gastronomy Management

• Completed training as a federally certified head chef or as a cook with further education in home, diet, or community catering or in personnel management
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in hospital or community catering
• Leadership experience as well as a clear and structured working style
• Economic thinking and organizational skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as PC user skills
• Experience in modern production techniques and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to older, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
