.Customs Declarant Import/Export

Initial Situation

An international freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced customs declarant. If you are seeking a change and feel comfortable in an uncomplicated, dynamic team, this role could be a good fit for you.

Tasks

• Customs processing (import, export, transit and EU customs clearance)
• Checking and preparing customs documents
• Classifying goods
• Checking preferential treatment
• Calculating VAT and customs duties
• Correcting incorrect customs declarations
• Obtaining customs clearance instructions
• Communicating with customers and authorities
• Billing and archiving orders

Requirements

• Commercial basic training not mandatory but advantageous
• Professional experience as a customs declarant is essential
• Knowledge of various clearance procedures

IT

MS Office - good knowledge

Languages

German: spoken and written very good

Start Date

Available immediately or by arrangement

Work Location

Zurich, Schaffhausen or Kreuzlingen
