Portrait of the School/Institution
Around 500 students and kindergarten children attend the primary/kindergarten level of the Wabern school. We run six kindergarten, six basic level, and five multi-grade classes in the 1st-2nd school year as well as seven grade classes in the 3rd-4th school year. Tasks
You teach music in two 3rd grade classes (2 x 2 lessons). The village schoolhouse offers a bright, well-equipped music room that creates ideal conditions for music lessons.
Workday:
Preferably Tuesday morning
Your areas of responsibility include:
- Planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of your own lessons
- Promoting students in social, professional, and self-competence
- Collaboration with the class team.
- Cooperation within the staff, with parents, school management, and specialist departments
- Individual further training, participation in staff days and meetings, and adherence to the standards applicable at the school.
Requirements
You hold a diploma for lower/middle level or already have experience teaching music in public schools.
You are a reliable, motivated, and resilient personality with a healthy sense of humor. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You prepare your lessons conscientiously. Building relationships with the students entrusted to you is an important success factor for effective teaching.
