About the job

The beautifully located Hochweid Retirement Center in Kilchberg includes a retirement and nursing home with space for around 48 residents as well as a care living group with 10 places for people with dementia. The focus of our work is on palliative care and dementia care. Our center also includes a retirement settlement with 53 retirement apartments as well as 5 additional retirement apartments in the Conradstift at Dorfstrasse 80/82.

Development and design of the activation process
Independent planning, organizing, and conducting resource-oriented activation and daily life design in group or individual activities
Ensuring and maintaining quality standards
Planning and conducting excursions and events in coordination with management
Supporting and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in all areas
Leading and coordinating volunteer staff

Completed training as a certified Activation Specialist HF or equivalent education or training
Professional work attitude
Practical experience in long-term care
Competent and caring interaction with our residents
Enjoyment of the role with diverse challenges
Teamwork skills, resilience, and flexibility
Confident communication in German, both spoken and written
