Lecturers Communication / German – VSH
The Benedict Education Group has been offering modern and today’s needs-adapted training and continuing education worldwide in the fields of languages, commerce, management, computer science, and health for over 95 years.
For our location in St. Gallen, we are looking for lecturers for Communication and German in the field of Dipl. Businesswoman / Businessman VSH.
Main tasks
- Conducting group lessons according to the syllabus in the subject Communication / German for Dipl. Businesspeople VSH.
- Preparing and following up on lessons.
- Teaching and deepening knowledge in German spelling, punctuation, and text production.
- Guiding competent use of appropriate aids (e.g., spelling dictionaries, electronic aids).
- Supporting learners in writing clear, target-group-appropriate texts.
- Promoting a constructive feedback culture: giving and professionally receiving feedback.
- Creating, conducting, and grading interim and diploma exams.
- Accompanying learners in their written and oral expression skills.
Teaching times / variants
Teaching takes place in different models. Lecturers are deployed in one of these variants (each approx. 3–6 hours per week):
- Monday all day
- Monday and Wednesday evening
- Friday afternoon and Friday evening
- Saturday all day
Requirements / competencies
- University of applied sciences, university, or equivalent degree.
- Very good knowledge of German spelling, punctuation, and text production.
- Pedagogical skills and pronounced communication ability.
- Experience in adult education.
- Ability to individually support adult learners and teach in a practice-oriented manner.
- Confident use of didactic and digital aids.
- SVEB 1 certificate or equivalent training in adult education.
- Precise, reliable, and independent working style.
Objective of the position
Lecturers contribute with their expertise, university degree, and teaching experience in adult education to ensure that prospective Dipl. Businesspeople VSH develop professional, error-free, and effective written business communication.
