The Meiringen Private Clinic is located in the impressive landscape of the Hasli Valley, in the Bernese Oberland. Here, people with all forms of mental illness find admission, treatment, and care. The third largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for inpatient psychiatric basic care in the eastern Bernese Oberland. Care and support are provided according to the current medical-psychiatric and nursing knowledge.

Working on a psychotherapy ward is a prerequisite for the specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy. For the specialist in general medicine, engagement on a psychotherapy ward is advantageous. The activity in our center is creditable for all mentioned specialist titles.
Tasks
Your tasks include case management as well as psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of inpatient patients under the supervision of the senior physician, participation in night and weekend duties, and close collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
Expectations
- You have a medical diploma recognized in Switzerland
- Experience in dealing with and treating mentally ill patients is an advantage
- German level at least B-2
- Independent, committed, friendly, and collegial personality
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
