- EDPR61
- The EDPR, attached to the SPNE, is a high-security closed detention facility. It is notably specialized in emergency reception, pre-trial detention, behavioral development research, and short-term release preparation. It also focuses on intervention in complex situations or involving psychiatric disorders.
- As part of your activity, you organize the management of the uniformed staff of the facility and lead the subordinate staff according to service rules, while ensuring that all stakeholders of the entity apply security standards. In collaboration with the deputy chief supervisors, you develop and implement the necessary procedures for the proper functioning of the facility, whether concerning internal flows, activities, visits, or searches. You are responsible for operationalizing security concepts, whether passive, procedural, or dynamic. Additionally, you contribute to the initial training and maintenance of the skills necessary for the exercise of the uniformed staff's functions. For all detention regimes and phases, you ensure appropriate supervision of detainees. Supporting the entity's management, you participate in implementing the penitentiary strategy within the entity in compliance with the legal and regulatory framework. Finally, you directly contribute to maintaining public security and preventing recidivism.
- Holder of higher education in a field relevant to the function, you also hold the diploma of expert in management in the field of deprivation of liberty with a federal diploma or commit to obtaining it during employment. Experience in security and excellent physical condition are assets (physical tests and a medical examination may be required during recruitment).
You have interpersonal and organizational ease and the ability to represent authority in diverse contexts with stakeholders. You also demonstrate adaptability and proven stress resistance. Your natural authority allows you to enforce rules confidently while embodying a model of exemplary behavior.
Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving license and vehicle essential; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract. You will be sworn in and subject to on-call duty.
