Renold & Partner is a specialised consulting boutique for energy supply companies in Switzerland. We combine expertise in finance and accounting with industry knowledge, process understanding, and regulatory know-how. As a two-person operation, we are well established in the energy sector.

Our activities range from consulting and optimisation of financial and closing processes to budgeting and reporting, as well as the further development of ERP systems – from analysis to implementation and support.

Your role

As a consultant, you design and optimise the financial processes of our clients. You work centrally with our own budgeting and planning solution in Excel. You use our tool landscape for project management, develop it further professionally, and support clients in its application.

Your tasks include:

• Analysis and optimisation of financial, closing, and budgeting processes
• Implementation, support, and further development of our budgeting and planning solution
• Development of reporting and control solutions as well as financial models as a basis for decision-making
• Further development of financial processes in the sense of data-driven finance
• Analysis and optimisation of ERP solutions, especially Abacus
• Consulting management and financial officers
• Independent management of projects and client mandates

You combine financial logic, processes, data, and systems into practical solutions.

Your profile

• Education with a focus on finance and accounting, for example a university of applied sciences degree, professional certificate, fiduciary or auditing
• Several years of experience or professional responsibility in financial, closing, and budgeting processes
• Solid practical knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, and asset accounting (DEBI, KREDI, KORE and assets)
• Experience in budgeting, planning, and financial corporate management
• Experience with optimisation or implementation of ERP and financial solutions, strong affinity for Excel and enthusiasm for models, data structures, and evaluations
• Strong enjoyment of consulting and direct client contact

Whether from financial responsibility or ERP integration: what matters is that you actively contribute your experience and want to reposition yourself in the Swiss energy sector.

Advantageous

• In-depth experience with Abacus or other ERP systems
• Experience with budgeting, planning, or reporting solutions
• Knowledge in data modelling or management reporting
• Experience in leading finance, ERP, or transformation projects
• Knowledge of the Swiss energy sector or consulting Swiss SMEs
