- Overall culinary responsibility for all gastronomic units on campus
- Development and implementation of creative, varied, and economical menus for different concepts (from self-service to à la carte, including catering)
- Ensuring high quality standards in production, presentation, and taste
- Leading, motivating, and developing a kitchen team across multiple outlets including patisserie
- Proactive involvement in the development of new gastronomic concepts and special promotions
- Participation in events and special occasions on campus
- Completed training as a cook with EFZ certification and further training as a kitchen chef or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position as well as leadership experience
- Strong business thinking and acting
- Excellent IT skills and flawless German language skills, both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team orientation
- Passion for the cooking profession as well as organizational talent with a high sense of responsibility

At the Novartis Campus in Basel, our host team with 160 employees delights around 2400 guests daily.

Regular company events and special occasions with up to 1,500 people are held.
You work Monday to Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on the schedule.
Evening shifts depending on workload.
