In this role, you are responsible for the correct distribution of goods and support purchasing in assortment planning, analyze relevant key figures, and bring your own ideas for the further development of our purchasing processes. You work closely with various interfaces and departments such as online shop, marketing, and sales and contribute to successful merchandise control. Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct distribution of goods
- Creation of analyses on assortment breadth, goods distribution, and type of distribution (online/offline) as well as deriving recommendations for action
- Recording and maintaining article data in coordination with merchandise management
- Operational support of purchasers in assortment planning, goods procurement, and control
- Taking over own (partial) projects for the further development of purchasing processes
- Conducting research on benchmarks and alternative retail formats with a focus on the Swiss retail landscape
- Successfully completed commercial training, preferably in retail and/or completed business studies
- You have at least two years of commercial professional experience, initial experience in purchasing is an advantage
- Very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel
- Flawless German and good English skills are required for your daily work, French is an advantage
- You have a pronounced flair for numbers and enjoy interpreting statistics and analyses
- Cooperative teamwork is important to you, you communicate openly and keep an overview even with various and new tasks
