Financial Controller (M/W)

Job purpose

Assist the Head of Financial Business Operation in the forecasting and analysis to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.

 

Duties and responsibilities

• Assisting Head of Financial Business Operations in the forecasting and analysis to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.


• Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances.


• Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.


• Forecasting future financial performance together with the Head of Financial Business Operations.


• Providing accurate financial operations reports to management, including cash flow forecast.


• Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements.


• Monitor internal controls.


• Identify cost savings.


• Perform other duties and projects as assigned (administrative/finance related).

 

Qualifications                      

Consistently exceeding targets will come naturally to you, as you will have the following behaviours. 

• Completed studies in economics/accounting.


• You have already gained some professional experience as financial controller.


• You are a committed, proactive and team-oriented personality.


• You enjoy working in a team.


• Good negotiation skills, able to think quickly.


• Resilient and able to stay calm when under pressure. Excellent attention to detail, completes all tasks.


• Ability to work proactively and use your own initiative.


• Expert use of MS Excel, e.g. advanced use of formula’s pivot tables. Experience using and building data and analysis dashboards, e.g. Power BI.


• You must be fluent in French and English to be considered for this job, German is a plus.
