Your tasks
- Ensuring ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger) in close cooperation with a Shared Service Center
- Independent reconciliation of balance sheet, income statement, and intercompany positions to ensure transparency and high data quality
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS in close cooperation with accounting and controlling
- Preparation of the statutory annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations
- Preparation of tax returns for direct and indirect taxes as well as participation in further tax topics (including Tax Compliance System, transfer pricing, Pillar 2)
- Maintenance, further development, and documentation of the internal control system (ICS) in the accounting area
- Recording, assessment, and monitoring of lease contracts according to IFRS 16
Your profile
- Completed further education in accounting / fiduciary (federal diploma), degree as a certified expert in accounting & controlling or university degree (Uni/FH) in business/finance, alternatively equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland
- At least five years of professional experience in financial accounting; controlling affinity is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations as well as the Swiss tax system
- High confidence in closing, pronounced quality awareness as well as structured and precise working method with a simultaneous view of the big picture
- Very good ERP knowledge (ideally SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4HANA) as well as strong Excel skills
- Service-oriented, proactive personality with high initiative and sense of responsibility
- Fluent German and English skills for daily collaboration
