Apprenticeship Medical Practice Assistant EFZ (MPA)
Start of apprenticeship: August 2026
For our Neurozentrum Bellevue/Neurozentrum Horgen (rotation between the centers) we are looking for a motivated and committed apprentice starting August 2026 for the
three-year training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ (MPA)
During your training, you will work in a specialist neurological environment and gain comprehensive insight into the medical, administrative, and organizational processes of a modern practice. You will care for patients, support the medical team, and learn step by step all the important tasks of the MPA profession.
Your training with us
- Reception and care of patients
- Telephone and email correspondence
- Organization of consultations and summoning of patients
- Introduction to the electronic medical record (curaMED)
- Assistance with administrative tasks in daily practice
- Support with blood sampling (external analyses)
- Assistance with medical examinations (e.g., lumbar punctures)
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary practice team
Requirements for your application
- Completion of Secondary School A
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills are an advantage
- High motivation and commitment for the three-year training
- Empathy in dealing with patients
- Friendly, well-groomed appearance and service orientation
- Reliable, careful, and team-oriented working style
- Interest in medicine and administrative tasks
