Your tasks:
• Coordination and organization of the surgery team
• Duty scheduling and prioritization of workflows
• Interface between the surgery team, other departments, and nursing management
• Promotion of a positive team culture and open communication
• Co-responsibility for the recruitment process and onboarding of new employees
• Care of inpatient patients, including medication administration, consultations (including sedations), and participation in surgery
• Close collaboration with the surgeons, neurologists, and physiotherapists
• Ensuring a stress-free and loving clinic stay for the patients
Your profile:
• Training as a veterinary practice assistant and professional experience in surgery is an advantage
• First leadership experience and motivation for it
• Organizational talent, teamwork skills, and strong communication
• Independent and structured way of working
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts
• Interest in a leadership role
