As a recognized training center of the University of Basel, the Barmelweid Clinic employs junior assistants (UA) in the clinical routine in the field of internal medicine. They are deployed in the medical department with a focus on pneumology and cardiology. As a clinic, we are very interested that our junior assistants are also interested in later completing their specialist training with us as assistant doctors.
What you will do with us
- you care for inpatients under supervision
- you assist with patient admission and discharge
- discussion of the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- learning and practicing specific clinical examination techniques as well as interpreting technical examinations
- active participation in exchange meetings
