Alternate member for the Administrative Court (SVP)

for the remainder of the term 2025-2031

The Administrative Court is the highest cantonal court instance in the field of administrative law. It applies both cantonal law and large parts of federal administrative law. The Administrative Court is particularly responsible for disputes concerning spatial planning, construction and environmental protection law, expropriation law, tax law, causal levy law, personnel law, social welfare, health care, procurement law, immigration law, coercive measures in immigration law, measures under the Domestic Violence Act, criminal and penal enforcement, administrative measures in road traffic, police law.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of administrative procedural law and special knowledge acquired through practice or scientific activity in at least one area of special administrative law
• Several years of experience in an administration, at an administrative court or a lower court, or legal practice with a focus on public law
• Voting rights in the canton of Zurich
• Age under 65 years at the start of the term
• Impeccable reputation

The seat is claimed by the SVP faction. The annual salary is based on the decision of the Cantonal Council on the determination of the salary of members and alternate members of the Administrative Court dated July 7, 1997 (LS 175.22).
