About the job
The Office for Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau is a central service provider within the Cantonal Administration of Thurgau with its five district debt enforcement offices and the bankruptcy office.
The office employs around 100 staff, trainees, and interns in the two specialist areas. To complement the Bankruptcy Department, we are looking for a legal intern immediately or by arrangement
Your Tasks
- Management of the office management secretariat in job-sharing with an existing employee
- Assistance tasks for the office management and the department head in administrative, organizational, and personnel matters
- Support of the office management during internal visitations (audits, ICS)
- Handling correspondence for the office management
- Contact person and hub for internal and external offices
- Coordination, organization as well as preparation and follow-up / minute-taking of various meetings
- Management of the homepage, intranet, and social media
- Leadership or participation in various projects
- Support in supervising trainees
- Independent preparation of criminal complaints
- Conducting legal clarifications and in-depth research
- Support of bankruptcy administrators in complex cases as well as taking over simple bankruptcy cases
Your Profile
- You already have expertise in legal sciences as well as commercial training, ideally in public administration
- Good legal knowledge of the SchKG, ZGB, OR, ZPO
- Very good IT user and digitization skills (MS Office, Excel, Visio, Web, etc.)
- Service- and solution-oriented personality
- Very good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken expression are required
- You work precisely, independently, and well-structured, are a team player, and keep a cool head even in hectic situations
