The Public Prosecutor's Office I of the Canton of Zurich conducts canton-wide criminal investigations against adults in the area of serious violent crime.

What to expect from us

As an assistant to an investigating public prosecutor, you will be directly involved in the administrative processing of serious violent crime cases: you will take on all arising assistant tasks and independently manage the secretariat. Among other things, you will be responsible for organizing interrogations. Administrative preparation of decisions is also one of your core tasks. You will be in contact with authorities, parties, and third parties and actively support your supervisor. You will periodically perform on-call duty (during the week and on weekends) and respond when called out. The role requires a high degree of independence and resilience, strong teamwork skills, and outstanding self- and work-organizational abilities.

How to convince us

You have completed commercial training and have relevant professional experience (police/law firm/court/public prosecutor's office) with a strong interest in criminal prosecution. You apply your excellent German language skills confidently and "digitalization" is not a foreign word to you. You are a dynamic, flexible, and reliable organizational talent with a can-do attitude and pronounced communication skills. You think ahead, demonstrate above-average commitment and team spirit, and support your supervisor effectively. You gladly take on responsibility and have a high quality standard. You act and think solution-oriented. Integrity and discretion are a matter of course for you.
