finance team optimally supports our approximately 30 locations. Are you a competent and reliable person with a hands-on mentality?
For this position, we are looking for an accountant with controlling tasks (80-100%) starting April 1, 2024, or by arrangement.
Your tasks
Accounting & Financial Statements:
- Responsibility for general and subsidiary ledgers including financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
- Liquidity planning
- Contact person for audits, banks, authorities, and internal partners
Accounts receivable and subsidy accounting:
- Responsibility for subsidy accounting (federal, municipal, cantonal)
- Management of monthly billing runs (especially parents and municipalities)
- Responsibility for checking incoming payments and dunning processes
- Contact person for operations management and parents
Finance & Controlling:
- Collaboration on budget, forecast, and financial reporting
- Analysis of occupancy, personnel costs, and profitability
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyses
Processes & Development:
- Optimization of finance, controlling, and billing processes
- Participation in system and digitization projects

What you bring
- Commercial training with further education in finance/controlling (e.g., FA Financial and Accounting, HF, FH) or simply a lot of experience
- Several years of experience in controlling and financial accounting in an SME environment
- Proven ability to prepare financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
- Very good Excel skills and high IT affinity
- Abacus knowledge is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in contact with different stakeholders
