About the role
We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer with strong expertise in measurement and dimensional control to join our Quality team. The role focuses on daily quality monitoring, dimensional verification, and problem resolution in production. Over time, the position may evolve into a Certifying Staff function (EASA Part 21/Part 145), with authority to release products in accordance with aerospace standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily quality alerts from production and incoming inspection and act to contain, investigate, and unlock issues.

Perform dimensional measurements using CMM, optical measurement equipment and conventional measurement equipment.

Validate measurement results against design data, drawings, and GD&T requirements.

Support production and engineering teams with measurement expertise and technical guidance.

Ensure calibration, accuracy, and reliability of measurement machines and tools.

Document quality records, measurement reports, and corrective actions in compliance with aerospace standards.

Contribute to root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality processes.

Support internal and external audits (customer, certification bodies, regulatory authorities).

Work toward approval as Certifying Staff, with training and experience provided to achieve authorization to release products.
Your profile

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or related) or Technician degree with relevant experience.

Experience in measurement and quality control within aerospace or other precision manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of CMM programming and / or optical measurement equipment programming.
- Familiarity with GD&T
- Familiarity with aerospace technical drawings is an advantage

Understanding of aerospace quality frameworks (EN/AS9100, ISO 9001) is an advantage

Adaptable, analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with production and engineering teams.

Interest in long-term development toward Certifying Staff responsibilities.
