The Sucht Foundation in Basel has been providing therapy, housing and work support, as well as survival assistance for homeless people since 1972.
The goal is a dignified and as self-determined life as possible.
The "Haus Gilgamesch" is looking for an engaged therapeutic specialist (m/f/d) for outpatient housing support starting December 1, 2025, due to retirement.
Therapeutic Specialist, 70 to 80 %
Start date December 1, 2025, or by arrangement
The "Haus Gilgamesch" is an addiction therapy facility. It offers thirteen internal and some external places in residential and workshop externships as well as in outpatient housing support.
The offer includes a stabilizing living and care situation as well as work training.
The inpatient stay usually lasts twelve months. Often, a multi-month residential and work externship with outpatient support follows.
The outpatient housing support often follows the residential and workshop externship but is usually used as a standalone setting.
You will be welcomed by an experienced team that provides you with the necessary professional and collegial support for this demanding and meaningful work.

Your tasks
˗ Function as a contact person responsible for five to seven clients depending on the care setting and position percentage
˗ Planning and designing the stay at Haus Gilgamesch
˗ Care according to IHP in outpatient housing support
˗ Accompanying clients in their own apartments within Basel
˗ Supporting the organization of daily life, topics such as self-responsibility, health, debts, or housing and job search
˗ Medication distribution
˗ Collaboration with referrers, authorities, and specialist agencies as well as other facilities of the Sucht Foundation
˗ Case administration and reporting
˗ Taking on departmental responsibility within the framework of outpatient housing support
Your profile
˗ Degree in Social Work/Social Education FH/HF, Psychiatric Nursing, or Psychology
˗ Experience in dealing with people with substance-related addiction disorders and/or mental impairments
˗ Knowledge of the regional addiction and social assistance system
˗ Interest and joy in results-oriented rehabilitation of drug addicts with multiple illnesses and in the demanding work alliance with them
˗ Possession of a Class B driver's license or ensured mobility within Basel
˗ Interest in participating in specialist conferences and groups regarding outpatient housing support
